The online brand of China-based Transsion Holdings, Infinix Mobile, today unveiled its Infinix Note 5 Stylus smartphone in India.
As the name suggests, Infinix Note 5 Stylus is a successor to the previously launched Note 5. The device brings in a revamped unibody metal design along with incremental hardware improvements and a Samsung Galaxy Note9-like stylus, dubbed as X-Pen.
As for the specs, the Note 5 Stylus sports a 5.93-inch IPS display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2240 x 1080 pixels and maximum brightness of 500 nits. The display also touts the support for 85 per cent NTSC colour gamut coverage and a pixel density of 407ppi.
The included X-Pen offers 4096 level pressure sensitivity and is capable of creating smart screenshots, writing notes, working with files, creating memos, and drawing a painting on the phone’s screen, just like Samsung’s Note-series. You can also switch between pen and eraser with just a click.
Under the hood, the device gets powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 SoC coupled with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, same as its predecessor. The in-built microSD card slot allows for storage expansion of up to 256GB.
In the optics department, the Infinix Note 5 Stylus bears a single 16-megapixel rear camera with large 1.25-micron pixel size and f/1.8 aperture. Whereas, the front houses a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The selfie shooter further incorporates a Softlight flash and 4-in-1 Big Pixel tech for better low light images. Both the cameras are equipped with nifty AI features like Auto Scene Detection, AI-Portrait, and Beauty modes.
On the software front, it runs Android 8.1 Oreo under Google’s Android One program resulting in timely updates. A large 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charger backs all of this. Lastly, the connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB with OTG support.
Infinix Note 5 Stylus Price & Availability
The Note 5 Stylus will be sold for Rs. 15,999, exclusively via Flipkart starting December 4 at midnight 12 AM. It will be available in two colour options – Black and Red. Jio users will receive Rs. 2200 instant cash back as vouchers and 50GB additional data.
